Over the years, I have gone over some characteristics of social media marketing in a variety of different discussions, but so far as I know I have never conducted a “all-in-one” form of post, detailing the differences that can be identified with social media and also the many ways that a person can exploit it.

It is a marketing machine, but, since most of them are only overwhelmed by it all, only a small percentage of internet marketers are actually benefiting from it. But, you’re not really going to Digg or SU to create ties (it’s all nofollowed), or even networking. There will be various social bookmarking sites telling the truth which will give you a connexion that follows. For networking, there may even be a few that are fantastic. Which is exactly where my point comes in. All are different!
A social platform that is all about networking is LinkedIn. Within your own field of interest, meet other people. Making good friends that’s what social networking really is all about!
Facebook and Twitter are both practical for direct and network exposure. And as a side note, I prefer to suggest having separate company and private-use accounts.
There is actually a big dilemma with various social media platforms and spam, most certainly on Twitter. This particular problem comes from frustrated entrepreneurs who do not understand that each site is unquestionably different from each other.
The issue here is spam. But, like most spam comes from, this spam does not come from sneaky, malicious scammers. It comes from “newbie” internet marketers who find very wide facts about the topic and act on that knowledge without any clear understanding of realistic applications.
